Is there a similar solution for Vista applications or would I need to upgrade to Win7 before I could add program shortcuts to the MC start strip?

Hmm, I'll take a look at the packages but there is an alternative way to add icons by using MC Studio. Should be able to add icons to any start strip with that program.

hey i just installed media browser and it works fine and on the menu ….but i cant set the extras plugins up

i downloaded the packages and douple click every plugin …no one installed …i really need help and appreciate it….i am running on 64 bit if it would help

and really like ur forum alot thanks waiting for help

There is one for TMT. I can see it on the strip. Thing is, TMT still wont launch BDs from hard drive within MCE even if you have set up 2.11 to use TMT as the external player. There’s a TMT public BETA available though. Trying it now.

You should be able to just run the original custom reg file from this post marked Add MediaBrowser Strip and then you should be able to use these once again.I've asked the Media Browser team to adjust their code through their forums but haven't received any response at this point. It's a simple fix, just a changing the Category string under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Start Menu\Applications\{ce32c570-4bec-4aeb-ad1d-cf47b91de0b2} to "Media Browser"
