When you use a media extender you only see local drives.. You can't see mapped drives via drive letters nor the UNC paths I manually added.. I don't understand why Microsoft makes this hard on us... We should be able to simple browse folders?! Mapped folders also... I guess uPNP is the only way to go.

I got everything to work except when adding network drives (unc paths) the network drives are only visible from Media Center directly. The fix was to simply un-check the default "My Music" location at the top (all my music was in a different folder anyway). This plugin is just what I needed for my non-metadata-ed music.I have MediaBrowser 2.1.3 installed, but the above menu .reg hack didn't do anything. Any ideas on how to add it to a more visible menu?

I got it working. The newer version you link to will install on Win7. The config. part runs, but if I try to Save settings (or Reset to Default) , I get get a box saying "Invalid Application". Never did see the actual program run.I really need this for simple music folder view/play. Thanks and cool site!

I have Win7-Pro (32 bit).
