hi, i was wondering whether it works with hotmail, seeing as there are settings for pop.live.com but everytime i try to connect it with my email address it doesn’t work. any help would be much appreciated! thanks

I tried this plugin, but I enver got the Activation from the authors shit. I did comlete the Activation form a couple of times.

I’d like to use this, but I wonder.. does it leave messages on server (VERY IMPORTANT!) or does it standard POP them? Big important difference..

If you have a lot of e-mails in your GMail account, it can take a (very) long time to download all messages at first run (20 minutes is no exception).
Messages get downloaded when Media Center itself is running. So, the first time after installing Media Center Mail, please keep Media Center running for a while, and you’ll find that your mail will be downloaded!

I had problems getting my gmail acct to work at first too, I tried a few times and it eventually worked.

Is there a way to change the sort order of the email shown? I have lots of mail in my inbox, and want to see the newest on the top of the list.

Tried this on 2 different gmail accounts on 2 different machines with no luck connecting.

check – use SSL
username – (xxxxxx@gmail.com)
password

any idea what I’m doing wrong?
