I love media centre but having all of my DVD’s on my HDD’s in the original format is a waste of space and I would require a TB of storage for just 200 or so movies.
I have converted them all to Divx but now they wont show up in media centre under DVD Library.
I have installed this addon but nothing happens.
Does this addon enable my movies to play like before?

k i found it, it was the tumbs option.

Another question:

which remote control works with media browser? i just need something to control the menu, select movie and play/pause.

Best would be something that has a lightfunktion and a power off button for the pc!…does anybody know one?

no sry, it is not the list.

it looks like view: detail, but my pictures are just small in the right lower corner.

I want to have a bigger picture, sort of poster like above in the background, because it looks so empty if everything is just blue.

I believe that’s the original theme in list view mode but it’s been quite a while so I’m not sure.

how can i get it to look like at the screenshot above…i want to have a background picture behind the dvd box as in the picture with Babylon A.D.

I’d really like to know the steps that you’ve taken to get MB to look like it does in your screen shots, I have tried unsuccessfully to get MB beta running on the 32 bit 7000 build.

I know this might be overkill to some, but I have created shortcuts on my desktop that cause MC to start where I want it to. Here is one example. To start directly at Shoutcast, I created a shortcut on my desktop with the following information: %systemroot%\ehome\ehshell.exe /entrypoint:{dc3ee387-2214-4275-917b-31c8895c16dc}\{d0e03c74-2b61-4c00-828a-d74efe43d57e}
The first sequence of characters in the brackets are the APPID, and the second set is the Entry Point ID. Simply open the registry (regedit), and navigate to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Extensibility\Entry Points
Find the Entry Point for the program you want MC to start at, then copy the AppID and the Entry Point ID into the create shortcut wizard.
