hey dude, this is fucking WINDOWS… for fucks sake…
not some linux..
if i had to do so much crap, why would i not chose linux only instead?

windows mofos should have click, install, kinda gui… dat u take care of all this crap… i know none of this is ur fault…

but still, i can’t be bothered to fuck around so much…. nor can i convert my 10 gb music in flac to mp3.

therefore, can u plz do all the programming and give me an installer to take care of all these?

and answer quick mate, whether or not you are able to help me.

What am I doing wrong?

I installed the filters and can play FLAC files on my xp and 32 bit win 7. However…, for some reason, I can only play one file at a time. When I “play all” or “play selection” the system would either not do it or flip through all the segments and play only the last on the list.

Any ideas?

You should update the link to the newest of the x64 codecs. The version linked didn’t work for me, but the download from the main site did.

If I enable ffdshow tryouts flac support – do I have to install madFlac?

Since I already have ffdshow tryouts, I’d prefer just to use that to allow flac support.

There are comments about ffdshow not being able to play the .flac extension, but what about ffdshow tryouts?

This is why WMP sucks… such a workaround for what should be common. I dumped it years ago and anybody serious about music should have done the same.

This is all good! It really works in MC, but…..
….the time display/counter does not work. It just diplays 0:00 while the song plays.
….you cannot FF/REW

Lastly, downloaded FLAC does not sound as good as ripped CDs in WMA lossless. WMA Lossless cannot be differenciated with the actual CD [in my pretty high end system].
